WWE announced in a press release Friday seven new dates for Raw and Smackdown, as well as 10 house shows that will be part of the company’s annual holiday tour. Tickets for the live events will go on sale Friday, Oct. 24.
The dates of the live events range from Dec. 5 through Jan. 5. There will be four repeat venues from last year’s holiday tour. Those are CFG Bank Arena (8,099 tickets distributed last year), PPG Paints Arena (7,747 tickets distributed last year), VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena (5,979 tickets distributed last year) and Little Caesars Arena (9,654 tickets distributed last year), tickets information according to WrestleTix.
Kia Center was part of the holiday tour last year, but this year, it will host the Dec. 29 edition of Raw. There were 7,864 tickets distributed at the holiday tour event last year, according to WrestleTix.
WWE was in Tampa Bay for Smackdown last year. However, this year, Tampa Bay is part of the holiday tour, where WWE will win at the newly-named Benchmark International Arena, formerly known as Amalie Arena. There were 11,834 tickets distrubted for the Smackdown event, according to WrestleTix.
One notable venue WWE announced was Barclays Center for Smackdown on Jan. 2. The last time WWE was at Barclays Center was on Aug. 4 for Raw. That event had 11,219 tickets distributed, according to WrestleTix. It also measured at three million global views on Netflix, which ranked at No. 5 during that week. The show was the follow-up to the two-day Summerslam and was headlined by world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins and the debut of The Vision.
