TV ratings: WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage for September 2

Update: The AEW Countdown special promoting the All Out PPV, which followed Rampage, had 229,000 viewers and did a 0.04 P18-49 rating (about 52,000). That’s slightly up in total viewers and the lowest for the demo that one of these specials has done. The special before Forbidden Door had 212,000 viewers and a 0.05 P18-49 rating.

WWE Smackdown Friday on Fox, was watched by 2,077,000 viewers on average, including about 639,000 aged 18 to 49, for a 0.49 P18-49 rating.

AEW Rampage on TNT at 10 pm, was watched by 485,000 viewers on average, including about 209,000 aged 18 to 49, for a 0.16 P18-49 rating.

Compared to last week, Smackdown was up 4% in total viewership. Among viewers 18-49, viewership was up 2%.

Compared to last week, Rampage was up 13% in total viewership. Among viewers 18-49, viewership was up 44%.

Smackdown ranked #2 on television overall on the day in P18-49, behind the U.S. Open on ESPN, which did a 0.92 P18-49 rating and had 4.6 million viewers.

Rampage ranked #11 in P18-49 among cable originals for the day, according to Showbuzz Daily. Including broadcast primetime, it ranked #22.

For Smackdown, P18-34 was up 36% compared to the prior four weeks. P35-49 was down 8%. P18-49 was up 3%. P25-54 was down 3%.

For Rampage, P35-49 was up 35% compared to the prior four weeks. M18-49 was up 31%. P18-49 was up 18%.
