The full report includes all Patreon accounts with public patron counts that had at least 10 patrons and appeared in search results on Patreon using the string “wrestl”. Select other wrestling-related accounts were also included. Accounts without a publicly-visible count of patrons aren’t included.
Data for daily counts are sourced from graphtreon.com.
The quarterly columns show the daily average of patrons for the period. I think the daily average throughout the period will be a more relevant measure as Patreon recently allowed creators to offer signups with separate 30-day billing cycles. I added a column at the far right to show the count of patrons on the last day of Q3, September 30, 2022.
On that date, graphtreon data indicates there were 44,081 patron relationships across about 400 wrestling-related accounts. Remember this count doesn’t include patrons for accounts without a public count of patrons. If the average patron fee is $5, that would mean those 44,081 patron relationships generate about $529,000 monthly, on track for $2.64 million on an annual basis.
The leading Patreon creator, Fightful, which had 11,102 on September 30 accounted for 25% of those 44,081 patron relationships.
While the overall wrestling-related Patreon business appears to still be growing, much of that growth is with Fightful.
