TV ratings: WWE Smackdown and AEW Rampage, January 27 – Smackdown’s highest P18-49 since 2020

WWE Smackdown Friday on Fox from 8 to 10 pm, was watched by 2,544,000 viewers on average, including about 878,000 aged 18 to 49, for a 0.67 P18-49 rating.

AEW Rampage on TNT at 10 pm, was watched by 458,000 viewers on average, including about 187,000 aged 18 to 49, for a 0.14 P18-49 rating.

This was Smackdown’s highest P18-49 viewership since December 25, 2020, higher than the December 30 episode last month with John Cena, which had a 0.64 P18-49 rating (842,000 viewers). The Christmas 2020 episode benefited from an NFL game lead-in. Excluding that case, Friday’s episode was the highest P18-49 audience for Smackdown since March 27, 2020.

Smackdown was tied for #1 in P18-49 for Friday, even with Senor de Cielos VIII on Telemundo, and ahead of its rival Shark Tank on ABC (0.59).

Rampage was #22 in P18-49 among cable originals and #35 including broadcast primetime.

This was Rampage’s lowest total viewership since December 9.

Showbuzz Daily hasn’t reported information for Friday telecasts so we don’t know ranking information yet.
