For comparison to the PWTees infographic above on top sellers for 2023, which PWTees says accounts for both PWTees and ShopAEW sales, I combined data from our daily collections of data from best sellers’ pages for both ShopAEW and PWTees.
As always with our monthly rankings, this isn’t a clean science. There are ambiguities with categories as it concerns how to attribute value to members of stables. This is further complicated by the fact that we’re not able to consider actual sales but are only analyzing best sellers’ pages (using a reverse rank value methodology) and assuming those pages honestly reflect which items are the best contributors to sales.
Further complicating the ShopAEW and PWTees data is that many items feature more than one talent or brand. This year, for example, this prominently affected popular co-branded merchandise featuring MJF and Adam Cole. As with our monthly rankings, these co-branded categories are indicated with their own separate category (“MJF & Adam Cole”). MJF, individually (“MJF”), and Adam Cole (“Adam Cole”), individually, also have separate categories representing merchandise that is solely associated with them as individuals.
Please note values under the “Reverse rank value” columns DO NOT represent sales. Those values are simply the sum of the daily reverse rank value (calculated as 51 minus the item’s rank for the day, or 0 if the rank was not 50 or better). Therefore, the rank values between the ShopAEW/PWTees lists and the WWE lists are not meaningfully comparable.

For a prominent example of how category ambiguities were arbitrarily determined by me, all “We The Ones” items, which were categorized on WWEShop as “Bloodline” items, I chose to attribute to the Usos (which accounted for 8,838 towards the Usos’ total reverse rank value o 13,784); note that Jey Uso also ranks separately below. All other “Bloodline” items were attributed to Roman Reigns (which accounted for 1,766 toward Roman Reigns’ total reverse rank value of 34,179).
