Analysis: WWE Raw viewership without the third hour

The 10 pm hour is often the least-viewed of the three hours of WWE Raw. With Raw only running for two hours, from 8 pm to 10 pm starting tonight on USA Network, how much of a difference will that have on the overall viewership?

If we exclude the third hour from the past 12 months of Raw episodes, the show’s overall viewership would increase by approximately 5%, with a 3% boost in the P18-49 demographic.

However, other factors could influence ratings as Raw becomes two hours for the rest of the year ahead of its move to Netflix. This analysis doesn’t account for any potential shift in viewer behavior like a possible greater willingness to watch a shorter show over the former three-hour runtime.
