Nielsen data here was sourced from daily reports from Programming Insider and SpoilerTV. This table shows broadcast and cable telecasts in primetime only, sorted by P18-49 viewership for the calendar year of 2024. Telecasts under 30 minutes were excluded. Any simulcasts weren’t consolidated. This is also limited to the data I could gather from PI and STV. Spanish language broadcast telecasts (e.g., Univision, Telemundo), are usually not included in those reports and would rank here if they were available.
WWE, AEW, and UFC telecasts are shaded to stand out. This should provide some insight into where those companies’ programs stand in the wider landscape of television in a given year. It’s worth noting this is only about one seventh of the entire dataset we have for 2024.
