WWE announced in a press release Monday that Deadline will take place Saturday, Dec. 6 at Boeing Center in San Antonio, Texas. It will mark the first premium live event in the city since Royal Rumble in 2023. The Deadline PLE will feature NXT stars.
Deadline will join Ring of Honor’s Final Battle and TNA’s Final Resolution, which will also run that weekend.
Final Battle will be on Friday, Dec. 5 at Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio. AEW Collision also will take place in the same venue on Dec. 6.
TNA Final Resolution will be on Dec. 5 at El Paso County Coliseum in El Paso, Texas. There also will be Impact tapings during that weekend. El Paso is approximately an eight-hour drive from San Antonio.
NXT’s last PLE was Halloween Havoc on Oct. 25 at Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona. That event distributed 2,267 tickets, according to WrestleTix. That was up from the previous NXT PLE, No Mercy on Sept. 27 at FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, which distributed 1,386 tickets, according to WrestleTix.
The last major pro wrestling event held at Boeing Center was AEW Dynamite on Oct. 22, which distributed 1,830 tickets, according to WrestleTix.
